Chris Bland, Founder and Managing Director, had been working in trade publishing since 2003 and had seen how a strong trade publication could help give voice to an industry and become the trusted source of information for people working in organisations in that field. But he has also seen how quickly the industry can change, and through Monkey Media has built a company able to continually respond to that change by focusing on two central things; audience and content.
This focus has taken Monkey Media from a single print magazine to four major brands (Utility, Infrastructure, Energy, Pump Industry), all with their own high traffic online news portals, quarterly print magazines, niche events and premium subscription products.
It has also given rise to our Content Marketing division. The demand for quality content and marketing services increases and we put our expert publishing team to work for business large and small to help them become thought leaders and content creators in their own right.
